What are the alternatives to litigation?

However, there are a range of alternatives to an adjudicated outcome (alternative dispute resolution, or ADR), such as without prejudice negotiation, mediation, arbitration, or case appraisal. There are a range of advantages to engaging in the ADR. To take advantage of these processes while still achieving the best possible outcome, it often requires engaging lawyers who are equipped to represent you in that process, and who understand when you are best placed to engage in those processes.
